Terms of use
The terms for using LoonBids.
Last updated November 4, 2026
By using LoonBids (the website, the dashboard, email alerts and the ChatGPT and Claude apps), you agree to these terms.
What LoonBids is
LoonBids helps you find Canadian public tenders. It collects notices from public government open-data sources, lets you search them, and emails you when new notices match your alerts. LoonBids is independent and not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any government or buyer.
Check the official notice
Tender information can be incomplete, delayed or changed by the buyer after we collect it. Before you rely on any notice (dates, requirements, amendments or documents), confirm it on the buyer's official notice page. Bids are submitted to the buyer, never to LoonBids.
Your account
- Use an email address you control and keep access to it secure: anyone who can read it can sign in.
- Don't misuse the service: no automated scraping of LoonBids, no attempts to break or overload it, and no use that breaks the law.
Plans and billing
LoonBids has a free Lite plan and paid Pro and Business plans, billed per user per month as shown on the pricing page. Features may change. We'll tell you in advance before a price change affects your plan, and you can cancel or change plans at any time.
No warranty
LoonBids is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee that every tender is included, that alerts arrive on time, or that the service is uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, LoonBids is not liable for lost opportunities, missed deadlines, lost profits, or indirect damages arising from use of the service.
Ending
You can stop using LoonBids and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
