What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants use outside tools. LoonBids runs an MCP server, so assistants that support it can search tenders and manage your alerts directly.
Do I need a LoonBids account?
Not to search. The first time you ask about your alerts, the assistant asks you to sign in to LoonBids and press Allow. You can disconnect it any time under Apps in the dashboard.
Can the assistant make things up?
Answers about tenders come from LoonBids’ data and include the notice link, so you can always check the original. Treat summaries as a starting point and confirm details on the buyer’s notice.
Which assistants work?
ChatGPT, Claude (including Claude Code), Le Chat, Cursor, VS Code and other apps that support remote MCP servers with OAuth.
What does LoonBids see from my chats?
Only the tool requests the assistant sends, such as search filters or alert details. We never receive your conversations.
