LoonBids

Guide

Connect ChatGPT or Claude

Add LoonBids to ChatGPT or Claude to search Canadian public tenders in plain language.

LoonBids works as an app inside ChatGPT and Claude. Once it's added, ask for tenders in plain language and every answer links back to the notice.

Connector URL

https://app.loonbids.com/mcp

Claude

ChatGPT

Claude Code

Run this in a terminal, then use /mcp to sign in when you first ask about alerts:

claude mcp add --transport http loonbids https://app.loonbids.com/mcp

Or install the LoonBids plugin, which adds guided skills: /plugin marketplace add halitdincer/loonbids-plugin, then /plugin install loonbids@loonbids.

Codex

In a terminal, add LoonBids to Codex, then run codex mcp login loonbids to sign in for alerts:

codex mcp add loonbids --url https://app.loonbids.com/mcp

Or add it to ~/.codex/config.toml:

[mcp_servers.loonbids]
url = "https://app.loonbids.com/mcp"

Gemini

Grok

  1. Go to grok.com/connectors, choose New Connector, then Custom.
  2. Paste https://app.loonbids.com/mcp as the server URL and sign in when asked.

Custom connectors need a paid Grok plan.

Muse

The Muse app only offers connectors from Meta’s catalog, so you can’t add your own there yet. In Muse Code, add LoonBids as a remote MCP server with https://app.loonbids.com/mcp.

Cursor and Visual Studio Code

Other assistants

Any app that supports remote MCP servers can use the connector URL above (streamable HTTP; sign-in with OAuth when you use alerts).

What you can ask

Alerts

Searching works without an account. The first time you ask for alerts, ChatGPT or Claude asks you to connect your LoonBids account: sign in (or create a free account) and press Allow. The app can then create, change and delete your alerts, and the emails go to your account's address. You can also manage alerts in the dashboard, and disconnect an app any time under Apps.
